found this a little while ago at the LACC swap. i knew i was going to get it anyways, but the $1 asking price certainly didn't hurt. it wasn't until i left the booth that i looked at the back cover... not bad, considering he was a genius too and all...

Wow! I have never seen this up close!!
The many chicks of Murry Wilson are sexier than the girls on "All Summer Long" (models) or "Party" (girlfriends/wives)
Guess the old Man copied the Boys and bested 'em on this front. Back cover is a little creepy though.

Too bad the fabled "lost photo" of him with the nude women sitting around him wasn't used on the cover. I heard that Jimi Hendrix was at that shoot while in Hawthorne once, then replicated the scene for his own record after he learned Murry's label banned the shot. (well, it would be cool if it were true, huh?) By the way, are there any shots of dinner plates anywhere on this lp ??

i think it's a shame that doug gillard's solo came out so near the end of all things 2004. it should have made everyone's top ten list.
