This is kinda neat. I sold something on eBay a couple weeks back to a gent with the handle "someday_man." Last week had a couple hours to kill before meeting up with Brute Force in San Diego Country, so swung by Lou's Records, where I found the super-rare Paul Williams album of that name (Reprise, 1970) for all of $4. (Also picked up the first Judee Sill on vinyl for $6. What a great store!)
Anyway, I'm really digging "Someday Man," with these great Williams/Roger Nichols songs like "Do You Really Have A Heart" and simultaneously organic/ornate arrangements, including one by Chad Stuart. I think it sounds like a Partridge Family album for the sexually active.
Now I'm wondering if I have a copy of the "Phantom of the Paradise" soundtrack around here somewhere....
