Here are some LPs that I think would have been good to put in the book (which I am reading right now):
The Korgis: Dumb Waiters Monks: Bad Habits Slickee Boys: Cybernetic Dreams Of Pi (Twin Tone) Ten Years After: A Space In Time

Slickee Boys are great. And a good argument to refute the Agony Shorthand contention that 90s garage rock crushes 80s garage rock. (Phew, that's gotta be the record geek equivalent of Thor vs. Hulk.)
My biggest recent discoveries have all been Glam reissues. Finally picked up the Jobriath compilation out on Morissey's label. On first listen, I don't like it nearly as much as the (space) ace Brett Smiley reissue that came out on RPM.
Also, I've got the two Urusula 1000 DVD-R comps, Clap Your Hands Stamp Your Feet (Zenda Jacks' "Rub My Tummy" Rats - "Turtle Dove") and Satin Dustbin ("Roxy Roller" - Sweeney Todd, "Bungalow Love" - Rik Kenton) to augment Velvet Tinmine and Glitter From The Litter Bin.
